ธนาคารกสิกรไทย แจ้งผลประกอบการครึ่งปีแรก ปี 62 กำไร 19,973 ล้านบาท

       นางสาวขัตติยา อินทรวิชัย กรรมการผู้จัดการ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย เปิดเผยว่า เศรษฐกิจไทยในไตรมาส 2 ปี 2562 ยังไม่ฟื้นตัวขึ้นมากนัก เมื่อเทียบกับที่ขยายตัวร้อยละ 2.80 ในไตรมาส 1 ปี 2562 เนื่องจากภาคการส่งออกและการท่องเที่ยวยังคงเผชิญแรงกดดันต่อเนื่องจากแนวโน้มการชะลอตัวของเศรษฐกิจประเทศคู่ค้าและเศรษฐกิจโลก ท่ามกลางสถานการณ์ที่ยืดเยื้อของการเจรจาทางการค้าระหว่างสหรัฐฯ และจีน อย่างไรก็ดี ภาพรวมการบริโภคภาคเอกชนยังสามารถประคองทิศทางการเติบโตไว้ได้ต่อเนื่อง แต่คงต้องติดตามสถานการณ์หนี้และการฟื้นตัวของรายได้ครัวเรือน รวมถึงภาพรวมเศรษฐกิจไทยในช่วงครึ่งหลังของปี

        ธนาคารและบริษัทย่อยมีกำไรสุทธิสำหรับครึ่งปีแรกปี 2562 จำนวน 19,973 ล้านบาท และมีกำไรสุทธิสำหรับไตรมาส 2 ปี 2562 จำนวน 9,929 ล้านบาท

       ผลการดำเนินงานสำหรับครึ่งปีแรกปี 2562 เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับครึ่งปีแรกปี 2561 ธนาคารและบริษัทย่อยมีกำไรสุทธิจำนวน 19,973 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากงวดเดียวกันของปีก่อนจำนวน 1,709 ล้านบาท หรือ 7.88% โดยรายได้ดอกเบี้ยสุทธิเพิ่มขึ้นจำนวน 2,960 ล้านบาท หรือ 6.16% ส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากรายได้ดอกเบี้ยรับของเงินให้สินเชื่อและเงินลงทุน ทำให้อัตราผลตอบแทนสินทรัพย์ที่ก่อให้เกิดรายได้สุทธิ (Net interest margin: NIM) อยู่ที่ระดับ 3.30% ในขณะที่รายได้ที่มิใช่ดอกเบี้ยลดลงจำนวน 5,475 ล้านบาท หรือ 17.46% ส่วนใหญ่เป็นผลมาจากรายได้สุทธิจากการรับประกันภัยและรายได้จากผลิตภัณฑ์ตลาดทุนลดลง รวมทั้งการยกเลิกค่าธรรมเนียมการโอนเงินผ่านช่องทางดิจิทัล นอกจากนี้ ภายใต้การชะลอตัวของเศรษฐกิจซึ่งมีผลต่อรายได้ของธนาคาร ธนาคารจึงพยายามควบคุมค่าใช้จ่ายจากการดำเนินงานอื่น ๆ ส่งผลให้ค่าใช้จ่ายจากการดำเนินงานอื่น ๆ เพิ่มขึ้นจำนวน 1,087 ล้านบาท หรือ 3.33% แม้ว่าจะมีการตั้งสำรองเกษียณอายุของพนักงานเพิ่มขึ้นจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงผลประโยชน์ของพนักงานตามนโยบายการจ้างงานเฉพาะของธนาคารที่ไม่เกี่ยวกับกฎหมายแรงงาน มีผลให้อัตราส่วนค่าใช้จ่ายจากการดำเนินงานอื่น ๆ ต่อรายได้จากการดำเนินงานสุทธิ (Cost to income ratio) อยู่ที่ระดับ 43.89%

        ผลการดำเนินงานสำหรับไตรมาส 2 ปี 2562 เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับไตรมาส 1 ปี 2562 ธนาคารและบริษัทย่อยมีกำไรสุทธิจำนวน 9,929 ล้านบาท ลดลงเล็กน้อยจากไตรมาสก่อนจำนวน 115 ล้านบาท หรือ 1.15% โดยรายได้ดอกเบี้ยสุทธิเพิ่มขึ้นจำนวน 518 ล้านบาท หรือ 2.05% ส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากรายได้ดอกเบี้ยรับของเงินลงทุน ทำให้อัตราผลตอบแทนสินทรัพย์ที่ก่อให้เกิดรายได้สุทธิ (Net interest margin: NIM) อยู่ที่ระดับ 3.34% นอกจากนี้ รายได้ที่มิใช่ดอกเบี้ยเพิ่มขึ้นจำนวน 1,392 ล้านบาท หรือ 11.38% ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากรายได้สุทธิจากการรับประกันภัย และรายได้จากผลิตภัณฑ์ตลาดทุน รวมทั้งรายได้ค่าธรรมเนียมและบริการสุทธิเพิ่มขึ้น สำหรับค่าใช้จ่ายจากการดำเนินงานอื่น ๆ เพิ่มขึ้นจำนวน 1,731 ล้านบาท หรือ 10.81% ส่วนหนึ่งเกิดจากค่าใช้จ่ายทางการตลาด และการตั้งสำรองเกษียณอายุของพนักงาน

       ณ วันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2562 ธนาคารและบริษัทย่อย มีสินทรัพย์รวมจำนวน 3,256,294 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากสิ้นปี 2561 จำนวน 101,203 ล้านบาท หรือ 3.21% ส่วนใหญ่เป็นการเพิ่มขึ้นของเงินลงทุนสุทธิ สำหรับเงินให้สินเชื่อด้อยคุณภาพต่อเงินให้สินเชื่อ (%NPL gross) ณ วันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2562 อยู่ที่ระดับ 3.40% ขณะที่สิ้นปี 2561 อยู่ที่ระดับ 3.34% อัตราส่วนค่าเผื่อหนี้สงสัยจะสูญต่อเงินให้สินเชื่อด้อยคุณภาพ (Coverage ratio) ณ วันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2562 อยู่ที่ระดับ 157.95% โดยสิ้นปี 2561 อยู่ที่ระดับ 160.60% สำหรับอัตราส่วนเงินกองทุนทั้งสิ้นต่อสินทรัพย์เสี่ยงของกลุ่มธุรกิจทางการเงินธนาคารกสิกรไทยตามหลักเกณฑ์ Basel III ณ วันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2562 อยู่ที่ 18.55% โดยมีอัตราส่วนเงินกองทุนชั้นที่ 1 อยู่ที่ 16.19%

        Ms.Kattiya Indaravijaya, President of KASIKORNBANK, said the Thai economy in the second quarter of 2019 saw a feeble performance compared to the 2.80% growth in the first quarter of 2019 given that exports and tourism remained hindered by the economic slowdown of trade partners and global woes amid the protracted US-China trade talks. Nonetheless, private consumption enjoyed continuous growth; however, during the second half of this year, household debt and improvement in household income, as well as the overall Thai economic situation, merit close watch.

       Operating performance for the first half of 2019, KBank and its subsidiaries reported net profit of Baht 19,973 Million, and reported net profit of Baht 9,929 Million, for the second quarter of 2019.

        Operating performance for the first half of 2019 compared with the first half of 2018, KBank and its subsidiaries reported net profit of Baht 19,973 Million, a decrease of Baht 1,709 Million or 7.88% over the same period of 2018. Net interest income increased by Baht 2,960 Million or 6.16% mainly due to interest income from loans to customers and investments. NIM stood at 3.30%, while non-interest income decreased by Baht 5,475 Million or 17.46% mainly due to a decrease in net premiums earned – net and revenue from capital market products, including fees waive for money transfers through digital channel. Moreover, under the economic slowdown that affected in the Bank’s earnings, the Bank made an effort to control operating expenses, resulted in an increase in operating expenses by Baht 1,087 Million or 3.33% despite retirement reserve increase from the change in defined benefit plan according to employment policy of the Bank which is not relating to labor law. Cost to income ratio stood at 43.89%.

      Operating performance for the second quarter of 2019 compared with the first quarter of 2019, KBank and its subsidiaries reported net profit of Baht 9,929 Million, a slight decrease from the preceding quarter of Baht 115 Million or 1.15%. Net interest income increased by Baht 518 Million or 2.05% mainly due to interest income from investments. NIM stood at 3.34%. Moreover, non - interest income increased by Baht 1,392 Million or 11.38% due mostly to an increase in net premiums earned - net, revenue from capital market products and fee and service income - net. Other operating expenses increased by Baht 1,731 Million or 10.81% due to marketing expense and retirement reserve.

       As of 30 June 2019, KBank and its subsidiaries’ total assets were Baht 3,256,294 Million, an increase of Baht 101,203 Million or 3.21% over the end of 2018. The majority came from an increase in investments - net. NPL gross to total loans as of 30 June 2019 stood at 3.40% while at the end of 2018 this stood at 3.34%. Coverage ratio as of 30 June 2019 stood at 157.95%, while at the end of 2018 this stood at 160.60%. In addition, as of 30 June 2019, KASIKORNBANK FINANCIAL CONGLOMERATE’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) according to the Basel III Accord was 18.55%, with a Tier-1 Capital ratio of 16.19%.
